New Bginnings and a Four Layer Dessert

Welcome to Counting Change Again. We hope that you can enjoy yourself here in our part of the world. We understand our location and circumstances may change but we know God has a plan for our family and are ready for it! We hope that you find your time here productive and learn along the way as we do also. To start off with, we would like to share a favorite recipe of ours. This is a post that was posted when I first started in the bloggy world (please excuse the photo quality). So pull up a chair and enjoy!
A little background history of how this recie came into my hands:
I am an Army Brat, that had a mom that entertained as any other military wife did. Ome of my many memories of my childhood was this dessert. Now that I am a parent, my mom past this recipe along to me to share with my husband, kids and whoever we have over at our house. Warning!- this a very rich and filling scrumptious sweet- Enjoy!

 Four Layer Dessert
Layer # 1 - 1 cup flour, 1 stick melted butter or margarine, 1 cup chopped nuts.  Press into a 9 x 13 pan.  Bake in oven at 350 for 15 minutes.  Cool.

Chunky Layer 2 (bad mixer)
Layer # 3 - 2 small boxed instant chocolate pudding. 3 cups milk.  Mix like regular pudding, only this will be thicker because using less milk than 2 boxes would call for.  Spread this over cream cheese mixture.

Layer #4 - Cover top with cool whip and sprinkle finely chopped pecans over top.  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
